Dissertation Defense: Amber Ford

The oral doctoral examination of Amber Ford, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Tuesday, April 15, at 1 pm in the Center for Science and Technology (CST), room 1-132.

Ford’s advisor is Professor James Hougland. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Carlos Castañeda, Davoud Mozhdehi, John Chisholm, and Michael Sponsler. Professor Eun Deok Kim will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “A customizable ligand conjugate system for investigation and detection of ghrelin O-acyltransferase.”
