Presented by Women in Science and Engineering (WiSE), the 2025 Slepecky Memorial Lecture features Joan-Emma Shea, professor of chemistry at the University of California, Santa Barbara, whose research applies statistical and computational approaches to address biological problems. She is a fellow of the American Physical Society and the American Chemical Society, and the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Physical Chemistry.
More information about the lecture will be posted as it becomes available.
The event will include the presentation of the Slepecky Undergraduate Research Prize winner and a brief reception.
