Dissertation Defense: Katherine MacDonald

The oral doctoral examination of Katherine MacDonald, candidate for the Ph.D. degree,  will be held on Monday, April 28, at 3:30 p.m. in Eggers Hall, room 155.

MacDonald’s advisor is Professor Thomas Perreault. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Anne Bellows, Karl Offen, Matt Huber, and Laura-Anne Minkoff-Zern. Professor Rick Welsh will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Cultivating Post-Soviet Gardens: Seed Saving and the Household Plot in Rural Tajikistan.”
