Dissertation Defense: Lizhen Liang

The oral doctoral examination of Lizhen Liang, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Tuesday, April 29, at 1:30 pm in Hinds Hall 243A Studio Classroom and via Zoom.

Liang’s advisor is Professor Bei Yu. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Jian Qin, Joshua Introne, and Daniel Acuna. Professor Sucheta Soundarajan will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Investigating the Topic, Impact, and Resource Gap Between Academia and Industry in the Field of Artificial Intelligence.”
