Dissertation Defense:

The oral doctoral examination of Sucheta Lahiri, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Wednesday, April 30,  at 10 a.m. via Zoom.

Lahiri’s advisor is Professor Jeffrey Saltz. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Carsten Øesterlund, Steven Sawyer, and Samir Passi. Professor Johannes Himmelreich will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Risks of Data Science Project Failure: Articulation, Legitimization, and Power Struggles.”
