Interfaith Day of Learning and Service with Hendricks Chapel

Please join Hendricks Chapel as we seek to foster peace and understanding through service and learning. We will enjoy lunch and interfaith discussion in the Noble Room at Hendricks Chapel. We will then assemble hygiene bags for refugees who have recently resettled in Central New York. These refugees are being assisted by Interfaith Works of Central NY.

  • 1:30 PM: Lunch & interfaith discussion
  • 3:00 PM: Assemble hygiene bags for New Americans
  • 4:00 PM: Conclusion

About InterFaith Works of CNY:

InterFaith Works’ Center for New Americans resettles refugees from the Middle East, Asia and Africa, as well as asylees from many other countries, helping refugees and immigrant families integrate into their new communities. The center also provides English classes, employment preparation and immigration, medical case management, mental health services, cultural orientation, referrals and community navigation services.
