Douglass Day 2025

February 14, 2025 at 11:00am4:00pm EST

Bird Library, Peter Graham Scholarly Commons (Room 114)

In a national transcribe-a-thon honoring the birthday of Frederick Douglass (1818-1895), the Humanities Center brings together students, staff, faculty, and others from our campus community to help digitize documents from Black History archives. This annual, global event creates a celebratory environment for communal transcribing on individual laptops (bring your own or use a common workstation) with refreshments and live check-ins from other participants across the world.
