Join us as we celebrate Black History Month with an inspiring keynote speech by Donnetta (Netta) Monk! Taking place on Feb. 20 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Hergenhan Auditorium, this special event will highlight the power of storytelling, authenticity and representation in media and beyond.

Donnetta (Netta) Monk has a gift for connecting people to the stories, characters, and worlds they love most. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, and now thriving in Los Angeles, she has worked with some of the biggest brands in the world, including SC Johnson, Warner Bros. Discovery and Netflix. Through her passion for storytelling and innovative campaigns, Monk helps brands forge authentic connections with their audiences. Monk is more than a communications professional – she’s a storyteller, an advocate and a dreamer. She’s passionate about elevating marginalized stories and unique perspectives creating spaces where authenticity and creativity thrive.
