Open Science as a concept and a practice is a dynamic method of sharing information increasingly favored by scholarly journals and extramural funding agencies. Techniques and resources to utilize open science as a researcher or consumer of science have many layers and variations. Nick Bowman, an Associate Professor from the Newhouse School with expertise in open science practices as an author, editor, researcher, and administrator, will be sharing the origins and foundational aspects of the Open Science movement, demonstrating how he implements and utilizes it in his own research, and reviewing best practices for others engaging with open science
