Gova10 CEO Matt Krieger on @BringHershHome Campaign

February 25, 2025 at 4:30pm5:30pm EST

Newhouse 3, I-3 Center

Matt Krieger, founder and CEO of Gova10, a Tel Aviv- and Washington D.C.-based communications firm, will speak on BringHershHome. BringHershHome is a global advocacy and awareness campaign driven by the parents of Hersh Goldberg-Polin, who was one of the hostages held in captivity in Gaza.

In addition to running his agency, Krieger served as the campaign’s chief communications officer, managing its many facets over nearly 11 months. This led to over a thousand media interviews; a cover story in TIME magazine with Goldberg-Polin’s mother Rachel Goldberg-Polin being named on the 100 Most Influential People list; significant features on all major networks; and billions of media impressions.

BringHershHome combined social and traditional media; high-profile speaking engagements; special events at the Democratic National Convention, the UN and a major rally in Washington; and meetings with government and business leaders including President Biden, Pope Francis, Prime Minister Netanyahu, Michael Dell, Elon Musk and others. Despite all of these efforts, the campaign ultimately failed, as Hersh did not come home alive. The efforts did, however, teach powerful lessons about a campaign of this importance and scope.

Please join Matt Krieger for a discussion about the work and implications of BringHershHome, Tuesday, Feb. 25, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the I-3 Center of Newhouse 3. Brought to you by the Newhouse public relations department.
