‘Leading With Distinction’ Town Hall: Global Diversity

A series of town halls focusing on key themes of Syracuse University’s academic strategic plan, “Leading With Distinction,” will be held throughout the Spring 2025 semester. Each event will include a brief opening presentation from the facilitator(s), followed by open discussion among attendees.
The town hall on Global Diversity will be facilitated by Elisa Dekaney, associate provost for strategic initiatives, and Chris Eiffe, associate vice president for academic operations.
Topics will include:
- Global diversity in the context of the academic strategic plan
- The many components of global diversity: campus, away and abroad
- Access to global diversity: removing barriers for all students
Future town halls are:
- Monday, Feb. 17, 11 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.: Human Thriving
- Friday, March 21, 11 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.: Emerging Technologies
- Tuesday, April 29, 11 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.: Research
All events will be held on Zoom.
