Open Source Software Licensing

The Open Source Program Office presents the first seminar in our Open Source Seminar Series. Brian Gerling J.D., the Executive Director of the Innovation Law Center and Professor of Practice in the Syracuse University College of Law, will give a presentation on the process of licensing open source software. He will cover the myriad of licensing options, the legal implications of different licensing options, how to choose a specific license for a specific open source project, and how to maintain and/or enforce your licensing choice into the future.
