Dissertation Defense: Cassie Dutton

The oral doctoral examination of Cassie Dutton, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Tuesday, July 15, at 9:00 a.m. in Maxwell Hall, room 303.

Dutton’s advisors are Professors Amy Lutz and Becky Schewe. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professor Janet Wilmoth. Professor Shana Gadarian will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Place, Policy, and Power: New and Continuous Destinations and the Influence of State-Level Policy on Immigrant Outcomes.”
