2025 Mirror Awards
June 9, 2025 at 6:00pm – 8:00pm EDT
The Edison Ballroom 240 W. 47th St. New York, NY 10036

Join us as we celebrate the 2025 Mirror Award winners! Established by the Newhouse School in 2006, the Mirror Awards are the preeminent competition in the field of media industry reporting. They recognize the reporters, editors and writers who hold a mirror to their own industry for the public’s benefit.
The ceremony will include the presentation of four juried journalism awards. We will also present these featured awards:
- Legendary sportscaster Bob Costas H’15 will receive the Fred Dressler Leadership Award. The Dressler Award is given to individuals or organizations that have made distinct, consistent and unique contributions to the public’s understanding of the media.
- ICT, a nonprofit multimedia news platform that covers the Indigenous world, will receive the Lorraine Branham Award. Managing editor Jourdan Bennett-Begaye G’16 will accept the award for ICT, which was previously known as Indian Country Today.
