Dissertation Defense: Jason Markins

The oral doctoral examination of Jason Markins, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Wednesday, June 11, at 2 p.m. via Zoom.

Markins’ advisor is Professor Krista Kennedy. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Collin Brooke, Lois Agnew, and Kevin Browne. Professor Christopher Hanson will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Beyond the Head and the Hand: A Comparative Rhetorical Analysis of Material Ethos in The Craftsman and Make: Magazine.”
