Dissertation Defense: Elvis Avdic

The oral doctoral examination of Elvis Avdic, candidate for the PhD degree, will be held on Friday, June 13, at 10 am in 205A Maxwell Hall and via Zoom.

Avdic’s advisors are Professor Azra Hromadžić and Mirza Tihic. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Amy Lutz, and Becky Schewe. Professor Lauren Woodard will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Lives and Dreams: A Study of the Entrepreneurial Journeys of Bosnian Immigrants in the Startup World.”
