A reception for a thesis exhibition by M.F.A. candidates in the College of Visual and Performing Arts’ School of Art and Department of Film and Media Arts. Curated by Evan Starling Davis.
Navigating and blurring of lines between theory and practice, this exhibition seamlessly maps critical themes of identity, public and private memory, transformation, as well as the impact of sociocultural and political structures imposed on the personal experience.
Artists: Kai Bason, Jalal Ghias Beygi, Kirstin Dunlap, Luca Higonnet-Faithfull, Shokoofeh Jabbari, Flora Jiang, Monae Kyhara, Rick Li, Neil Mattern, Ryan Mitchell, Alexandria Morgan, Tripty Tamang Pakhrin, Olivia Qi, Grace Schamowski, Emma Schwartz, Ashique Shahir, Valery Lely Soy, KB Stallings, Yukang Tao, Joseph H. Troxler, Nikou Zabihi, and Yuping Zeng.
The exhibition will also be on view Saturday, March 8, and Sunday, March 9, from noon-6 p.m.
