The oral doctoral examination of Aimee Iradukunda, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Wednesday, March 19, at 11 a.m. Center for Science and Technology (CST) 1-132 and via Zoom.
Iradukunda’s advisor is Professor Yan-Yeung Luk. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Mathew Maye, Davoud Mozhdehi, Nancy Totah, and Michael Sponsler. Professor Jennifer Ross will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Chemical Reversal of Beta-lactam Resistance and Induction of Hyper-susceptibility in Pseudomonas aeruginosa by Limiting Horizontal Gene Transfer under Beta-lactam Stress.”
