Dissertation Defense: Brian Odiwuor

The oral doctoral examination of Brian Odiwuor, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Thursday, March 20, at 11:30 a.m. in 114 Bird Library and via Zoom.

Brian Odiwuor’s advisor is Professor Duane Graysay. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Joanna Masingila, and Sharon Dotger. Professor William Wylie will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Understanding the Knowledge Used in Planning Problem-Solving Lessons: Addressing Suboptimal Mathematics Performance in Mixed-Day Secondary Schools Serving Marginalized Communities in Kenya.”
