First-Generation Mixed Tapes: A Space to Celebrate Intersectionality
March 25, 2025 at 4:00pm – 5:00pm EDT
113 Euclid
Each month, Syracuse University’s First-Generation Programs partners with different offices around campus to hold space for first-generation college students of all identities. In these spaces, we discuss different facets of the first-generation experience and have a listening party!
To celebrate Women’s History Month, we will be hosting our affinity event in the Native Student Program House (113 Euclid) with the goal of having a conversation about what it means to be a woman and first-generation. Along with listening to music with a DJ through the SENSES project, we will have crafts available to do while we chat.
All are welcome to participate in this event as we continue to support and strengthen our intersectional community. If you would like to suggest a song for this month’s playlist, please submit it through our MachForm. We hope to see you there!
