Join the Department of Communication and Rhetorical Studies for a distinguished scholar lecture featuring Robin Boylorn, inaugural Holle endowed chair of communication arts and distinguished research professor at the University of Alabama’s College of Communication and Information Sciences.
Boylorn will explore the language of lived experience, examining how communication shapes identity and the ways we understand race, gender and power in our everyday lives.
This lecture is co-sponsored by Code^Shift at the Newhouse School, Syracuse University Humanities Center, the Department of Writing Studies, Rhetoric and Composition, the Department of English, and the Department of Women and Gender Studies. It promises to offer a compelling perspective on the intersection of rhetoric and lived experience.
