Dissertation Defense: Pan Dong

The oral doctoral examination of Pan Dong, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Friday, March 28, at 1 p.m. in the Hall of Languages, room 111.

Dong’s advisor is Professor Joseph Paulsen. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Christian Santangelo, and Nidhi Pashine. Professor Teng Zhang will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Geometry and Mechanical response of Twisted Thin Tubes.”
