Dissertation Defense: Dong Zheng

The oral doctoral examination of Dong Zheng, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Thursday, May 22, at 12 p.m. via Zoom.

Zheng’s advisor is Professor Eric Lui. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Riyad Aboutaha, Zhao Qin, and Yilei Shi. Professor Teng Zhang will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “A Rational Approach to Analyze and Design Gusset Plates Using Truss Analogy.”
