Dissertation Defense: Sudhat Ashok

The oral doctoral examination of Sudhat Ashok, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Tuesday, July 28, at 1 p.m. in Zoom.

Ashok’s advisor is Professor James Hougland. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Yan-Yeung Luk, Mark Braiman, Davoud Mozhdehi and John Franck. Professor Douglas Frank will serve as chair of the defense.  The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Expanding The Potential Prenylome: Prenylation of Shortened Target Substrates by FTASE and Development of Fret-Based System for Detecting Potentially “Shunted” Proteins.”
