In 1970, a group of Syracuse University football players, who came to be known as the Syracuse 8, sought equity and diversity on the coaching staff. When their demands went unanswered, they boycotted the season. Their sacrifices would change the future of Orange football.

Six members of the group will join Newhouse alumna Beth Mowins G’90 for an online discussion sponsored by the Newhouse Sports Media Center. Guests include:
