Diversity in the Media Industry

Students and alumni are invited to join the Newhouse School for a virtual conversation on diversity in media.

Newhouse alumni Tara Donaldson G’12, executive editor of WWD and head of diversity, equity and inclusion at Fairchild Media, and Jay Francis ’84, vice president of current series and diversity at Disney Television Animation, will discuss diversity in the media industry and how the Black Lives Matter movement and recent current events have created change. Associate Dean Hub Brown will moderate the discussion.

The event is part of the Newhouse School’s Leaders in Communications speaker series.
