The oral doctoral examination of Natalie Sommer, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Friday, April 16, at 12 p.m. in Zoom.
Sommer’s advisor is Professor Senem Velipasalar – Gursoy. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Qinru Qiu, Garrett E. Katz, Reza Zafarani, Fanxin Kong, and Leanne Hirshfield. Professor James H. Henderson will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Multi-Label/Multi-Class Deep Learning Classification of Spatiotemporal Data.”
