Join this semester’s QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) Suicide Prevention Trainings! After attending the 2 hour training, you will receive a certification of completion and will be recognized as a QPR Gatekeeper for 3 years. This certification training is free and open to all iSchool students.

The online suicide prevention gatekeeper training debunks common myths about suicide and equips students with information about warning signs, resources, and approaches to support those who may be struggling with thoughts of suicide.

Similarly to CPR training where any lay citizen can be trained to identify and respond to a cardiac emergency, QPR is a nationally recognized certification training on how to identify warning signs, skills to provide support, and how to refer them to appropriate resources.

You only need to attend one training to receive the certification.

REGISTER for a Zoom training HERE.

*Spaces are limited. If you have any questions about the training or need any specific accommodations, please email Tiffany Schultz.
