This event is part of the Racial Equity Academic Symposium which is presented by the Office of Diversity and Inclusion and the Division of Faculty Affairs in the Office of Academic Affairs:
The impact of the pandemic, economic crisis, and social justice issues has been tremendous on Black America. Join scholar Eddie S. Glaude Jr. who is the James S. McDonnell Distinguished University Professor, chair of the Department of African American Studies at Princeton University, and associated faculty at the Princeton University Department of Religion in a frank discussion regarding the state of Black America. As one of the nation’s prominent scholars, Glaude’s analysis of the current Black experience will include the role that higher education institutions have in enacting sustainable change. After his presentation, Glaude will engage in discussion with members of our campus community and answer questions from audience participants.
