This event is part of the Racial Equity Academic Symposium which is presented by the Office of Diversity and Inclusion and the Division of Faculty Affairs in the Office of Academic Affairs:
Taking direction from the popular Clubhouse social network, this event brings audience members to the Zoom stage to talk, listen, and learn about health issues in the Black community. Medical bias, COVID-19, sexual health, vaccinations, mental health, female health issues and disparities, lack of representation in the medical field – nothing is off-limit.
In true Clubhouse fashion, (minus the invitation requirement), audience members can join and leave this event throughout the full event time.
