Dissertation Defense: Zachary Osborne

The oral doctoral examination of Zachary Osborne, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Thursday, July 15, at 10 a.m. in Zoom.

Osborne’s advisor is Professor Jay Thomas. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Suzanne Baldwin, Jeffrey Karson, Scott Samson and E. Bruce Watson. Professor Ian Dean Hosein will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Investigations of Trace Element Titanium in Silica Minerals.”
