Dissertation Defense: Pranay Sharma

The oral doctoral examination of Pranay Sharma, candidate for the PhD degree will be held on Tuesday, July 27, at 10 a.m. in ZOOM.

Sharma’s advisor is Professor Pramod K Varshney. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Biao Chen, Makan Fardad, Venkata S S Gandikota and Ferdinando Fioretto. Professor Lixin Shen will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Optimization Algorithms for Distributed Systems.”
