Annually, Syracuse University unites in honor of Disability Day of Mourning (DDoM). The campus community is invited to join the Intercultural Collective’s Disability Cultural Center to remember, mourn, honor and celebrate people with disabilities killed by family members or caregivers.
In addition to honoring victims, Kate Corbett Pollack, coordinator of the Disability Cultural Center, will share the history of DDoM and explore the Autistic Self Advocacy Network. Following there will be a question and answer session.
