Karen Lau, civil rights attorney, will address the just published report on anti-Asian violence by the Asian American Bar Association of New York (AABANY) and Paul Weiss: A Rising Tide of Hate and Violence against Asian Americans in New York During COVID-19:Impact, Causes, Solutions.

Yau is of counsel to Kakalec Law, and Co-chair, Pro Bono and Community Service Committee, AABANY. She is also a former professor at the College of Law.

Professor Mary Szto, Professor Su Hyun Nam, and illustrator Nabeeha Anwar will discuss their collaborative restorative justice project to address anti-Asian harassment, “From Victim to Victor”.
