Visit the 4th floor display in Bird Library featuring Houses and Households of the Presidents: Washington to Grant. The display includes images, select models, and SU Library resources related to presidential homes, including birthplaces, family estates, and houses occupied after leaving office. As many of the early presidents owned enslaved individuals, the topic of slavery is briefly addressed as it pertains to each president.
