The oral doctoral examination of Brandon Hollie, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Friday, March 26, at 12 p.m. in Zoom.

Hollie’s advisor is Professor Deborah Coolhart. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Linda Stone Fish, Ambika Krishnakumar, Dyane Watson and Stephanie Brooks. Professor Carrie Smith will serve as chair of the defense.  The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Poverty and neighborhood characteristics on the mental health and parent-child relationship in the Black community: The protective effect of Black cultural strengths.”
