Biology Seminar Series: Neurodiversity Panel Discussion

The Department of Biology will host a panel discussion on neurodiversity. The Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence has brought together a number of experts from across campus to lead a talk guided by the following questions:

  1. What is the best way to serve neurodiverse undergraduate and graduate students?
  2. How can faculty best support diversity and inclusion in the classroom and wider Biology Department Community with regard to neurodiverse students?

Panelists include:

Christine Ashby, Ph.D. from the School of Education

Bethany Heaton-Crawford, M.S. Ed. from the Center for Disability Resources

Paula Possenti-Perez, M.S. Ed. from the Center for Disability Resources

Diane R. Weiner, Ph.D. from Interdisciplinary Programs and Outreach, Burton Blatt Institute

Johan Wiklund, Ph.D. from Whitman School of Management
