Kussell Media Challenge Series: Diversity Issues in the Book Publishing Industry with Rebekah Borucki

Rebekah “Bex” Borucki, the founder of BexLife® and Row House Publishing, is a mother of five, TV host, YouTube and Instagram personality, meditation guide, birth doula, business mentor for creative healers and eight-time published author.

Borucki also developed and served as a mentor for the Diverse Wisdom Initiative at Hay House Publishing, the largest self-help book publisher, and has recently started her own publishing company: Row House publishes books for big and little readers at the intersection of personal development and social justice by authors with marginalized identities, “raising the volume on voices that matter.” She is also a member of the Yoga Alliance Equity Task Forces for Race and Ethnicity and Gender and Sexuality.

The William and Ada Kussell Media Challenge Series brings to campus senior executives from media companies to talk candidly with students about the issues their companies face and to challenge the students to propose ideas about how to identify new areas of opportunity based on those challenges.
