Kappa Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc.—Exploring the Asian American Experience Through a Disability Lens

This event is a workshop covering various topics of disability history, culture and experience:

• Intersections of race and disability, language and etiquette.
• History of Syracuse University disability services.
• Asian/Asian American disability activism.

The purpose of this event is to collectively learn alongside fellow attendees more about these topics and gain an awareness of the systems of oppression against disabled people that may not otherwise get highlighted.
