The oral doctoral examination of Diana Fidaoui, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Friday, April 22, at 9 a.m. in ZOOM.

Fidaoui’s advisor is Professor Jeffery A. Mangram. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Amy Lutz, George Theoharis, Rima Bahous, Melissa Luke, and David Perez. Professor Melissa Chessher will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “”Civic Education and Citizenship Education: Secondary Social Studies Teachers’ Understandings of the Concepts and Practices of Citizenship Education for Immigrant Students”.”
