Dissertation Defense: Eryka Murphey

The oral doctoral examination of Eryka Murphey, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. EST in Zoom.

Eryka Murphey’s advisor is Professor Benjamin Dotger. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Mara Sapon-Shevin, George Theoharis, Melissa Luke and Yanhong Liu. Professor Rachel Razza will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Teacher candidate and standardized student interactions following verbal threats of harm: Navigation of authority, displays of care, and solutions.”
