Join Gabe Smith, Garden Manager for Pete’s Giving Garden, to volunteer in the garden with gardening task, such as planting seed and seedlings, weeding, and a much more.

The garden has grown again this year and Gabe can use as much help as possible. The garden currently has the two large, raised garden beds, four ADA beds, for anyone who has mobility issues or for anyone who would like to garden standing in an upright position, two small herb gardens both on either side of the small garden shed and three new narrow long garden beds.

The garden is located behind the Inn Complete and parking is available in their parking lot.

Open Volunteer hours are on Fridays from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. or until the work is done. It’s open to all students, staff, and faculty who have an interest in gardening and being outside! Please come prepared with sunscreen, a larger brimmed hat or baseball hat or something that at least keeps the sun off your face and neck, closed toed shoes – no sandals are allowed, and a long-sleeved shirt would be helpful too. Please bring water, as it will be essential for hydrating.
We hope to see you this Friday!
