Dissertation Defense: Adam Brett

The oral doctoral examination of Adam Brett, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Friday, March 4, at 1:30 p.m. in the Hall of Languages, room 504.

Brett’s advisor is Professor Zachary Braiterman. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Philip P. Arnold, M. Gail Hamner, Margaret Susan Thompson and James W. Watts. Professor Coran Klaver will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Catastrophic Christianity: An Iconological study of the Messianic Idea in American Protestant  Christianity Circa 1900-1940.”
