Collections in Celebration of Women’s History Month

Syracuse University Libraries is featuring a variety of collection materials to celebrate the contributions women have made throughout history, from political thought and activism to creative work as authors, directors, composers and more.

Visit Bird Library Learning Commons first floor to sample some of the biographies, memoirs, novels, musical scores, and other women’s history titles selected for display, and visit our online curation of materials, including primary source databases, book lists, and more, available on the Women’s History Month Research Guide.

“A Woman’s Touch : The Impact of Women in Architecture” is available on display in King + King Architecture Library. Major reference works as well titles highlighting aspects of contemporary designs are being shown.

Display materials in Bird Library were curated by first-year graduate student McKenzie Rybka (M.M. candidate in vocal performance, College of Visual and Performing Arts). McKenzie works in the Libraries’ Department of Research and Scholarship with our collections team.
