Join us on Tuesday, March 29 at 3:45pm EST for a panel discussion with five Falk Alumni who are back on campus to discuss their professional roles as:

  • Physical Therapist
  • Child Life Specialist
  • Physician’s Assistant
  • Mental Health Therapist
  • Healthcare Administrator

Hear what ‘a day in the life’ looks like in a career field of interest to you!

A reception will immediately follow the panel discussion from 5 – 6pm.

Panelist:

Debra Carey
Healthcare Management, Human Nutrition ’77

Debra Leads systems to address the needs of diverse populations. She has held multiple executive level health system positions in Baltimore, Brooklyn, Chicago and Washington, D.C. and was the former CEO for the SUNY Downstate Medical Center’s University Hospital System. She has also previously held management roles at Johns Hopkins.

Jason Kart
Physical Therapist, Business Owner
Health and Exercise Science ’03

Jason is the founder of Core Physical Therapy which now has four locations. He did his residency with the Sports Medicine Department at Harvard University, focusing on Football, Track and Field, Cross Country and Squash. He has certifications in Manual Physical Therapist, Myofascial Trigger Point Physical Therapist and Applied Functional Science.

Emily Packer
Physician Assistant
Public Health ’14

Emily works in Pediatric Neurology at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. During her capstone she worked at Crouse Hospital NICU. She provides medical assistant/medical scribe services for a cornea surgeon.

Tatiana Williams, LCSW, MSW
Therapist, Clinical Team Lead
Social Work ’17

Tatiana is a Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder Clinic Director and is active in community organization, leadership, and advocacy. She is dedicated to making therapy more relatable and accessible for BIPOC and youth. She has received recognition from the Princeton Prize in Race Relations in 2012 and the YWCA Volunteer of Excellence & Service Award in 2016.

Laurie Koller
Child Life Activity Coordinator
Human Development and Family Science ’18

Laurie is a child life specialist for Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center Pediatrics Floor, working with integrative medicine and medical teams. She provides appropriate programming and events that are accessible, educational, and exciting for patients. She is also currently pursuing a master’s in recreational therapy and child life.
