The oral doctoral examination of Sefa Secen, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Thursday, May 5, at 11:30 a.m. in Zoom.
Secen’s advisors are Professor Mehrzad Boroujerdi and Yuksel Sezgin. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Seth Jolly, Lamis Abdelaaty and Osamah F. Khalil. Professor George L. Kallander will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “”The Politics of Security: Syrian Refugees in the Middle East and Western Europe”.”
