The oral doctoral examination of Kathleen Scanlon, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Thursday, November 17, at 10:30 a.m. in Zoom.
Scanlon’s advisor is Professor Cathy Engstrom. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Dawn Johnson, Jeffery Mangram, Kal Alston and Sharon Dotger. Professor Aileen Gallagher will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Unpacking athletics: An exploration of identity development for Division I women college athletes.”
