This event features panelists working in various areas of the law industry, at a variety of stages in their careers. The discussion will center around attaining successful careers in law and provide valuable insight into the industry.

Panelists include:

  • Melissa Jackson Holloway ’91 (Business Administration), General Counsel and Vice Chancellor of Legal Affairs, Risk, and Compliance for the North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, the nation’s largest Historically Black College and University. She earned her MA in political science from Binghamton University, and her JD, with honors, from the University of Wisconsin School of Law. Melissa currently serves as Chair-Elect of the National Association of College and University Attorneys.
  • Matthew Feibert ’15, ’21 (Biology, Policy Studies, and Law), an Associate Attorney at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, LLP, where he focuses on defending corporate entities and individuals under investigation by federal and state law enforcement authorities and regulators.
  • Beth Wright ’15 (Economics), an attorney with experience in public interest law and Native American studies.
  • Emily Ching ’00 (Sociology and Public Relations), an assistant district attorney for the New York City District Attorney’s Office.
