Please join us for an intimate evening of conversation surrounding Porshia A. Derival’s rise from co-director of Syracuse University’s infamous DanceWorks to executive director of the only global dance non-governmental organization (NGO), H+ | The Hip-Hop Dance Conservatory! Chatting with Porshia will be her mentor, H+ founder and artistic director Safi A. Thomas, and her colleague, H+ director of operations and education director Yvonne H. Chow. Come learn about how Porshia translated her Syracuse experiences to a full-blown professional career championing for dance sustainability! Refreshments and snacks will be provided.
