The oral doctoral examination of Julia McDaniel-Bouley, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Friday, April 14, at 3:30 p.m. via Zoom.
McDaniel-Bouley’s advisors are Professor Hans Buechler and A. Peter Castro. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors John Townsend, Jonnell A. Robinson and Lamis E. Abdelaaty. Professor Paul M. Hagenloh will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “The Geopolitics of Refuge and Reproduction: Maternal Health and Healthcare of Congolese Refugee Women in Flight, Displacement, and Resettlement.”
